Amazing Lentil Chili | Dinner

Before using dried lentils in this spicy dish, rinse them well and pick

through to remove any debris or undesirable pieces.


Serves 6

1 cup uncooked lentils

1 onion, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

4 cups Vegetable Broth

1/4 cup tomato paste 1 cup chopped carrots

1 cup chopped celery

1 (15-ounce) can diced tomatoes, drained

2 tablespoons chili powder

1/2 tablespoon paprika

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon cumin

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper


In a 4-quart slow cooker, add all ingredients.

Cover, and cook on low heat for 8 hours.
