Coconut and Orange Cake | Desserts

1/2 cup coconut flour 4 tablespoons flax seeds, ground 8 tablespoons water 1/4 cup coconut milk 1/4 cup coconut oil 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 teaspoon orange zest 1 pinch of salt 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 4 tablespoons orange juice 1 pinch of salt
1. In a bowl, mix together the flax seeds with water and set aside for 5 minutes. 2. Stir in the sugar, vanilla, orange zest and juice. Add the coconut oil, melted and chilled, then incorporate the coconut flour, baking powder and baking soda, as well as a pinch of salt. 3. Pour the batter into a greased 9-inch cake pan and bake in a preheated oven at 350F for 30-40 minutes 4. Let cool in the pan then sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve cut into slices
