General Tso’s Tofu | Dinner
The combination of sweet and spicy is what makes this dish a hit at
Chinese restaurants across the country.


Ingredients
1 (16-ounce) package extra-firm tofu, pressed and cubed
1 cup of water
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon minced ginger
1/8 cup sugar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/8 cup white wine vinegar
1/8 cup sherry
2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 cups chopped broccoli
Instructions
Add all ingredients to a 4-quart slow cooker. Cover, and cook on medium
heat for 4 hours.
