Red Bean Chili | Dinner

In the United States, “red beans” most commonly refers to kidney

beans, which add some meatiness to this red-hot dish.


2 (15-ounce) cans red kidney beans, drained

1/2 cup diced onion

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups Vegetable Broth

1 tablespoon chili powder

1/2 tablespoon chipotle powder

1/2 tablespoon cumin

1/2 tablespoon paprika

1 (15-ounce) can diced tomatoes

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper


In a 4-quart slow cooker, add all ingredients.

Cover, and cook on low heat for 5 hours.
