Ten-Minute Cheater’s Chili | Dinner

No time? No problem! This spicy chili gives you a quick and easy

way to get some veggies and protein on the table with no hassle.

Instead of veggie burgers, you could toss in a handful of TVP flakes if

you’d like, or any other mock meat you happen to have on hand.


1 (12-ounce) jar salsa

1 (14-ounce) can diced tomatoes

2 (14-ounce) cans kidney beans or black beans, drained

1 1/2 cups frozen veggies

4 veggie burgers, crumbled (optional)

2 tablespoons chili powder

1 teaspoon cumin

1/2 cup water


In a large pot, combine all ingredients. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring
